Mental Media designed and created the media for the opening of the new Yarra Ranges Museum in Lilydale, Victoria. This included permanent media pieces such as the interactive touch guide to the Museum’s objects overlaid on a 3D relief map of the district. Replayed on a giant holographic touch screen, the aim of the piece was to enable residents from each of the large number of towns in the district to easily locate objects from their town or locality.
We also produced DigiTales, the first temporary exhibit in the museum, a repository of digital stories from residents of the district that included a talking dinner table, e-postcasrds and projected scenery.
