Reimagining the Dinosaur exhibition at the Queensland Museum was an exciting project we undertook with exhibition designers Thylacine.
As well as detailed interactive screens that allowed visitors to explore 3D models of dinosaurs, videos, and images from the Museums large collection, Mental Media produced animated life sized visualisations of the dinosaurs and megafauna for projection.
A final touch was the projection mapping of animated dinosaur shadows onto a replica section of the Trackway, fossilised dinosaur footprints found in outback Queensland and now mounted on the wall of the gallery.
